I think of my parents, who were children during World War II, and their stories—about looking for shelter, encountering soldiers, and the people who got killed. My dad lost an eye due to a bombing in the neighborhood. They took him to a hospital and my grandparents didn't know where he was for days. This is just a small part of all their stories...
